Supplies:
Pencil and eraser. If you have watercolor tube or pan paints, already, use them. Otherwise, some good colors are thalo blue, permanent rose is a nice red, and hansa (lemon) yellow, burnt sienna, Paynes gray, burnt umber, and yellow ochre. You need 140 pound paper or heavier weight, no smaller than 9” by 12”. Bring brushes you have. I have brushes available for borrowing, and if you find some that you love, you can keep them by making a modest donation to the art center. Round brushes sizes 8, 10, and 12 would be excellent for this class.
